Hi,
I've always been a fan of electric locomotives and I was hoping someday someone could do a set of 85 & 86 Class NSW electric
locomotives for use over the electrified Blue Mountains route.

Hi,
Living at Dubbo I have never seen or known of these locos.
Just googled them and found these links.

It would be great to have a Msts model/models.
I like this anniversary version.

An 86 class electric gave me the best ride ever between Newcastle and Sydney.
On a trip on the Newcastle Flyer in 1989 the train was held at Fassifern for 1 hour because the Pacific Coast Motorail Express failed in front of us. Eventually the Motorail was dragged into the loop at Awaba and the Flyer was allowed to pass. The mighty 86 class hauled the Flyer at maximum track speed all the way and made up some considerable time. The ascent of Cowan bank with 310 tons was nothing for 3800 hp and I will always remember it.
