Last Night the VR commisioners ran the pattern loco V499 to Bendigo for testing and run in purposes.
The test was satisfactory with the loco having no problems.
This morning the VR photographic Team was in place between Castlemaine and Elphinston to record this momentus occasion.
Seen here pulling under full load at Chewton.
