After completely rebuiling this model over the last week due to a TSM issue, here is a picture of the nearly completely 2D, still got some some tweaks to do but I am pleased so far with how it has come along.

Feel free to leave any comments :)

Nice shape but the color needs Desaturating Whoa is that bright!
Have you thought about applying the lettering as a decal.
Cheers Russ :D

The colouring still needs to be sorted out, does anyone have a good sample of the orignal VR passenger red? I am only judging by photos of preserved stock. the lettering on the frame is a decal I will probably do the same to the body :)

But one issue I have with it is the wheel rotation is not working in the sim, have been all over the model and can't work out why, it all seems to work fine until it hits the sim :?

I tend to use the colour codes here:
http://www.worldoftrainz.com/Pages/Tuto ... lorsAU.htm

and here:
http://www.3dtrains.com/guides/msts_col ... ndex.shtml

I do have a problem with it... It isn't 2D, it's 3D... Oh wait, that 2D...

Zec :)

Here's a few others worth looking at - not specifically railway colours, but general paint colours and specifications:

If using TSM ensure wheels are named correctly and that you have 9 Animation frames listed in the project properties Box.

S301 - Unfortunately those 2 tables you refer to don't include the NSWGR Candy livery (Red / Orange / Yellow / White) :-(

I have had the model's about 95% finished for some time but have been too busy to really finish them off, I have ran and tested them several times and they do look not too bad in the sim.

Here is a pic of 3 variants of the D van I have made, they are from right to left D1 as built, D3 as painted in green livery and with steel over body, and D4 as built, while they may not be 100% accurate models I have tried to get as close as I can using photographs and diagrams.

Any help or advice on the models I am always willing to hear :)
