Cheers for the comments all, and yes only 2 have weathering.
Couple of pics of the recently finished generic nightview cab with working cablight. First time I've used light rendering so it's not as good as i'd like to have it but it'll do.

Hi G-513,
How do you turn the Cablight on and off?
The cab looks good from the pics.

Regards Geoff.

You will need to have the latest stable version of msts Bin which I think is 1.7.071320 Once the patch is installed, Ctrl L will switch the cablights on and off.

Browse into the folder where train simulator is installed and you should see a file called ‘Uninst_MSTS Patch 1.7.0519.exe’ or similar. If you do then you have MSTSBin installed and the numbers in the file name indicate the version you have installed.

You can download it from here:

http://mstsbin.uktrainsim.com

You may want to read up on it here:

Hi again G-513,
Thanks for your information.
I have now made my first cablight.
Gives me an idea to use it for a slightly different purpose that I have never seen used before.

Regards Geoff.

Nice work G513 :)

However I have had problems using the model with MSTSbin. I tried to use the L key to turn the cablight on and off in nightview but it won't work. Is this due to me using version 1.8 of MSTSbin?

I had problems getting the cablight to work at the start, so I upgraded my bin to 1.7.0713 (was at 1.6.something) and then it worked fine. And just to be sure Control L turns the cablight on/off
