It seems like a little at a time then a lot but it is well worth the wait.
Matt has been working on these for a long time honing them so that they are just right. I think you will agree that these are beautiful.

I'm working on the last models, in the colour scheme the Taits wore when new. There's not much to do now to have them all complete. I'll even have a set of pre-electrification cars to run with the Dde on suburban runs. Cheers, Matt
Don't think I have ever seen cream roof taits ??
dosn't look quite right to me. in smoggy old melbourne !
apart from that they do look very realistic.

The Dogboxes had swingdoors and the Taits had sliding doors. I wish that I could have seen them in action in Melbourne. I'd love to have a rise on them one day.

Thanks Notch, I've left the lettering alone for now until I can suss out a decent font-set.
The Taits were designed after the Swingdoor cars. They were designed with sliding doors which allowed them to have wider bodies, as they didn't have to allow for open doors striking open doors on a passing set. I do have an od Swingdoor set for MSTS but it will have to wait for another pack as I want to finish this one before the end of time!
One thing with the Taits is that it was possible to slam the doors open and slam them shut. They were solid, solid pieces of machinery and I have happy memories of them, being about 14 when they were finally withdrawn from service.
The following pic shows the main body variations which will be released with the pack. This doesn't include the Parcels Coach (in both coour schemes and both body types) or the double-ended unit, both of which will be part of the pack.
damn you guys are good i flooded the place drooling over these pics,
will you guys be making a cab view for these?oor can one use the cab view from train-sim.com?
