Giday Kevin,

I hope you’re not going to paint locos like you write posts. :(

If you don’t want to spend any money on a graphics program then look at paint.net or gimp.

Paint Shop Pro is a popular program and the latest version costs around AUS$180.

Photoshop is at the higher end of the price range and some would say offers little advantage to repainters than what PSP and gimp can do.

If you haven’t already done so, read the following tutorial on reskinning for MSTS.

http://www.uktrainsim.com/index2.php?fo ... texturing1

You will also need a program to convert the TGA/BMP files you create in your graphics program into the ACE file format that MSTS uses. The tutorial above refers to a program called MAKEACE. Most texture creators will use either TGATool2 or ACEIT.

Doing a google search will find you these programs.

Cheers,

Marek.

I never thought that I would say this but Google is your friend!
