I thught that some real running times taken directly from my old Guards Note Books might be helpfull for activity creation purposes.
I'll just put in the sections covered by the available MSTS routes.
Egine : 42202 Load NVFF NVMF 5 loads for 334 tonnes 15 Emptys for 335 tonnes
Picton 2400
Bargo 0023
Mitagong 0107 0147 40" detach and place oil tanks
Bowral 0154 0220 26" detach and place milk tanks
Berrima 0229 0240 11' detach and place cement hoppers
Moss Vale 0245 0310 25" detach and place Crib
That will do for now, but anyone has any requests for the:
Sydney-Goulburn,
Sydney - Broadmeadow,
Sydney - Lithgow
Sydney - Port Kembla
lines for the period of 1979 to 1984 I would be more than happy to post the information required.
My old note books contain Dates, Train Numbers, Drivers names, Engine numbers, load details and running times.
1415 South was the fuel train ex-Botany at 1515 Monday to Friday.
It was normally a full load for a 48 class, although it was known to have extra loading added at times resulting in mainline locos being used.
An Enfield crew would normally shunt and form this sevice at Botany, then work it through to Marrickville Station where a Driver change would be done with a Goulburn crew, the Enfield Guard would work right through.

This type of info is invaluable Marc.
It makes a great addition to be able to run actual consists and not just made up ones.
It goes to show you don't have to be a model or route builder to contribute to our great hobby.
