The DERM is one of those models that just got lost amongst the tangled projects on our hard drives.
It is a wonderful looking model made by Matt that is substantially complete and requires just a bit of tweaking plus a few more parts.
We will get cracking on this after the K classes.

Sensational. One of my all-time VR favourites. Went to Whittlesea in one (1958), Heathcote on another (Easter 1964 - the return run was sensational, 8.45pm out of Heathcote, non-stop to Spencer St and speeds downhill from Heathcote Junction to Essendon way above the 60mph limit!) then Lilydale-Healesville when one ventured there for a week or so around 1970. They even ran an all (suburban) stations Sunday morning service to Werribee, one of the delighful oddities of the VR at tthe time. And to see DERM, C Van, DERM, C Van leave Bendigo and grind up the 1 in 50 to Eaglehawk as a combined Sea Lake/Robinvale service was a real treat.
More power to your drawing arm!
Derms and and walkersand later upgraede DERMs and DRC worked very heavily on the Werribee line earlier to Geelong, they would look good on a Geelong Route!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any takers to build it, Ihave no idea how to, hopefully Russell might find his CD of the route
Cheers people
Bruce
