Hi,
Is it posible to add a background plan or template to help model the correct shape or size of a part?
If so how do you load the template?
Geoff

Hi Superheatedsteam,
Thanks for that.
I thought I had seen that before but could not remember where.
Regards Geoff.

Do not trust TSM Backdrops.
It will distort so that a square image will not be exactly square when loaded into TSM.
Always make guide parts to the exact size.

The method I use is to make a box with the overall dimensions of the object I want to model then apply the plan elevations as a texture to that box.
You can then use this box template as a guide when building. There should be no distortion using this method in top, side and end elevations.
