In the summer heat of Arizona, the first crew died on the law near MP 485. Myself and Conductor Jeffery Klem boarded the BNSF 9970 East, a 122-car loaded coal train weighting in around 12,000 tons, and prepared to head west to Seligman. A good friend, Grant Beech, followed us to around MP 500, where his car overheated. Below are the best five pictures taken. Please enjoy.

About two miles from where we started. I can't believe the Traction Effort (TE) on these beasts! They're only three on the head-end!

Our train barely making 11MPH as we approach the signals.

Slowly dragging our train past MP 494. The roar of EMD 710 engines are shaking the ground in this powerful struggle of man versus nature to climb this hill. Not man, but steel won this battle, barely.

Beautiful new BNSF hoppers have a nice glint in the desert sun.

At a good clip, making around 35 MPH our train rumbles past the camera.

I love that cabview and all the screenies.
It depicts the FIRE screen very nicely.

Shots of anything can be posted here as long as they relate in some way to MSTS. Anybody who says otherwise just has a carrot where the sun doesn't shine Cool
