At long last Phils wonderful 86 class Electrics in FreightCorp Blue are now available.
These will be right at home in the blue mountains or travelling between Sydney and Newcastle.
Dont forget to take the Time to Thank Phil for sharing these super models with us.. Because after all we do this for nothing and a line of thanks is the least you can do to keep our models rolling off the assembly line!

Lovely locos Phil. Being a big fan of electric traction, I'm a fan of these locos.

Phil, you've done an excellent job. A few little tweaks here and there and a little help from the boys and your excellent models are even better.

See Phil, you can do it. You have done it. Keep it up mate.

Cheers,
Matt

I'm currently fixing up the cabview so it can have controls and dials so far I have done the lights and pantograph controls and emailed the fix file to Russell, there might be a delay fixing the dials though as well as other important controls 8)

Cheers,
Best Regards, Phil

I gotta say, Phil.

It was defenantly a pleasure to help you on this 86 class project.
I gave a run of the 86 class locos. They ran beautifully. :)

Good job on creating this electric loco, mate. Love the new sounds from
the electric engine.

Whatever you do, Anytime you get stuck with any future projects, Don't worry. You are not alone on this. :D Well Done for making these awesome models. 8)

Thanks, Russell. :D
Shame Railpage Australia Took the sig pic off 3 years back and gave me a +15% Warning for putting it up. :(

At lease I'm glad It's acceptable here. :)
Anyways, Enough of that. At lease I'm happy that I'd assisted with Phil's 86 class. :)

I worked as a RDEL Fitter at Lithgow Loco Depot in the late 80s and early 90s and found the 86 Class a delight to work on. It was one of the few locos I used to look forward to working on, even the dreaded traction motor change.

Cheers
Pat

Thanks guys, I will always greatly appreciate all your help and thanks and this makes me feel very proud of getting something fully completed, not like my first 2 model trains "Cityrail Hunter Railcar & Hset Oscar" I think this model has to be the first model I really put heart into getting finshed, especially with the wonderful help you guys have done for me :D 8)

Speaking about my Cityrail Hunter Railcar & Hset Oscar trains, I am thinking of remodelling these as they look like trash  plus other projects to get up and running. More about this later

Cheers,
Best Regards, Phil 8)

Congratulations, Phil, and welcome to the dreaded Australian loco building fellowship!

Although I am not really a fan of NSWGR stuff; your model looks really good, and you should be commended for "having a go", and succeeding with flying colours.
I'd be interested to know what loco you plan on tackling next - if your 86 is anything to go by, it should be an absolute corker!

Well done!

Thanks Chrome_Bullet,

Normally I wouldn't let anyone know what my upcoming projects are but because you asked nicely I will consider  I am planning to model the 85 Class very soon, but at the moment I am going to complete my version of the NQAY wagons with the top leading container companies China Shipping, Kline, Maersk, Patrick, & Linfox and add a few tank containers with blue, red, and yellow framing but without company names or logos and before you ask if I have the companies permission to do so, YES I have already done this and they gave me their OK 8) on a note I am still working on my Cityrail projects of these trains K set, Hunter Railcar, H set Oscar, and a new refurbished Endeavour "but not a reskin version"

Cheers,
Best Regards, Phil 8)

Hi Phil

Even from someone who doesn't play MSTS a great deal I must say great job on these locos. I've just hooked up the 86 to one of my coal consists and it handles like a treat.

Regarding your Cityrail Projects. I've taken a large number of photos that I've used as textures for my Cityrail Northern Line route for another train simulator and I was wondering if they could assist you?

Cheers
