QR EDI BOMBADIER IMU/SMU TRAINSET
Supplied by EDI Rail's joint venture with Bombardier at EDI Rail's Maryborough facilities in Queensland. The value of the contract is approximately $212 million.
These vehicles are the latest generation of narrow gauge trains in Australia, and have been developed from a service proven portfolio of vehicles now in service in both Perth and Brisbane.
"The vehicles are stainless steel, air conditioned and run on 25 kV propulsion. They are supplied as three-car sets, and can be coupled to form six-car sets.

This train set has allowances made for regauging to MSTS standard gauge in the bogie width and wheels, but the car bodies comply with the standard width as per the prototype, so they might look a bit narrow as compared to normal MSTS rolling stock. The train has a custom cab that still needs work but I have little experience with these so I will update it when I do.
The sound set is aliased and it’s ready to go.
Many thanks go to Yuri Sos for his expertise with the lights and aliasing of files.

This is a Concept model of a Tait Parcels coach made 4 years ago By Matt Austin to test the construction idea behind building a Tait suburban train.
As such there are a few things missing off the model and it is greatly simplified.
Due to Matt having a HD crash the TSM files are no longer available for Matt or myself to finish so the model is as is.
If you enjoy it good if not well you know what to do.
You will need to download and install the brill tramcar sounds available at
http://steam4me.railpage.org.au/trainsim/sounds.html
for these to work.
The cabview is aliased to the default 2000.
A single car consist is provided so its ready to go after installing the sounds.
Please Thank Matt Austin for this model. Very Happy
